Intimate Wedding at The Grande at Kennesaw: A Sweet and Memorable Celebration
There’s something truly special about a small, intimate wedding. When a couple decides to keep things close-knit with just their family and closest friends, the whole day feels a lot more personal and meaningful. That’s exactly how Victoria and Ben’s wedding was. I had the pleasure of photographing their beautiful day at The Grande at Kennesaw—a venue that fit their vision perfectly!
From the moment I arrived at The Grande at Kennesaw, I knew this intimate wedding was going to be something special. The Grande at Kennesaw, with its charming architecture and stunning grounds, set the perfect stage for their celebration. Victoria and Ben chose to keep things simple and focused on what mattered most—love, laughter, and the people closest to them. Every moment I captured felt genuine and full of heart.
The ceremony was definitely a highlight. Set in The Grande’s beautiful gardens, Victoria and Ben’s ceremony was so touching and sincere. With the soft rustling of leaves and the smiles (and a few tears) from their friends and family, it was a picture-perfect moment that I was honored to capture.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued with a cozy reception that reflected the Krauses’ vision perfectly. The Grande at Kennesaw’s reception hall was warm and inviting, with beautifully set tables and just the right lighting. Victoria and Ben kept things lively with some fun touches, like the Wedding Shoe Game—where they had everyone laughing as they answered questions about their relationship while holding up each other’s shoes. They also added a unique twist with lottery card wedding games, giving guests a fun and interactive way to celebrate the day. The smaller guest list meant that everyone could really connect, share stories, and enjoy these personal touches, making the reception feel like a gathering of one big family.
Victoria and Ben’s day was brought to life by some incredible vendors. Waterstone Events did an amazing job with the florals, bringing in spring pastel colors that perfectly complemented the intimate setting. They also provided a day-of planner to ensure everything ran smoothly and catered a delicious meal that everyone raved about. And let’s not forget the cake! Confection Perfection created an all-white vintage cake that was as stunning as it was delicious—a true centerpiece of the celebration.
As a photographer, I always love capturing the joy and love that come with a wedding day. But when the day is shared in such an intimate setting, it feels even more meaningful. Every smile, every laugh, and every happy tear felt that much more significant because of the closeness of everyone involved.
Victoria and Ben’s wedding was a great reminder that it’s not about how big your wedding is—it’s about the love you share and the people who are there to witness it. The Grande at Kennesaw was the perfect spot for such a sweet and intimate day, and I’m so glad I got to be a part of capturing these memories for a couple so obviously in love. Here’s to the Krause’s!
